Wayne and Martha Huizenga have listed for sale a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 422 Mola Ave. in Fort Lauderdale for $1.55 million.
The 1,649-square-foot home was built in 1958 in the Fort Lauderdale East neighborhood. Kelly Drum of Drum Realty is the listing agent for the home.
Huizenga is a businessman who led companies such as Waste Management Inc., Blockbuster Video and AutoNation. The former majority owner of the Miami Dolphins still owns a small percentage of that team as well as their stadium, Sun Life Stadium.
He was also the first owner of the Florida Marlins as well as the Florida Panthers. He sold the Marlins in 1998 and the Panthers in 2001.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 4,398 home sales in Fort Lauderdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $165,000.
