Visual Aids CEO pays $940K for Jupiter 4BD

Jack C. Cassell bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 106 Xanadu Place in Jupiter from Alexandra and Jeffrey Marston for $940,000 on Oct. 23.

The Marstons purchased the property for $281,500 in Jan. 2007. The 3,071-square-foot house, which was built in 2002, is in the Xanadu By The Sea subdivision.

Mr. Cassell is president, CEO and owner of Visual Aids Electronics, a company that supplies video and audiovisual equipment for high-profile meetings and events.

He also owns Conference Systems, Inc., which provides simultaneous language interpretation services for meetings.

He is a 1977 graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., where his father, Stafford "Pop" Cassell, was a coach, athletic director and vice president.

There have been 1,033 sales in Jupiter in 2008, with median sales price of $275,000.
