Morgan Stanley exec spends $2.7M in Miami Beach

Medium 1230f6ed77f38e84e45007bf914ad11d Candido and Anabella Viyella bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 288 S. Coconut Lane in Miami Beach from Michael and Rosa Mora for $2.7 million on May 19.

The Moras paid $2 million for the property in Feb. 2003. The 3,180-square-foot house, which was built in 1938, is in the Venetian Islands neighborhood.

Mr. Viyella is an executive director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, a global financial services firm. He has served as managing director at UBS and senior vice president at Prudential Securities.

There were 1,716 home sales in Miami Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $287,000.
