Shane Olivea bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 6202 Vista Linda Lane in Boca del Mar from Christopher and Kelly Staller for $591,000 on Sept. 18.

The Stallers bought the property for $632,000 in Jan. 2008. The 4,121-square-foot house in the Boca del Mar South neighborhood was built in 1996.

Mr. Olivea has been an offensive tackle with the San Diego Chargers and New York Giants. He started 31 games in two seasons with the Chargers before being released prior to the 2008 season. The Giants released him that year following a season-ending back injury.

He played college football at Ohio State from 2000 to 2003.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 293 home sales in Boca del Mar during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $176,250.
