James Morton Nederlander and his wife, Charlene Saunders, bought a four-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 146 Seminole Ave. in Palm Beach from Edwina L. Kempf for $5.5 million on March 5, 2007.

Ms. Kempf and then husband, Gregory G. Kempf, paid $3.672 million for the property in June 2004.

The 4,405-square-foot house, which was built in 1999, is in the Ocean Park subdivision.

Mr. Nederlander is the chairman of the Nederlander Producing Company of America, or simply known as the Nederlander Organization - a renowned operator of live theatee based in New York City.

Together with son James Laurence Nederlander, the company has produced several theater shows starting in 1981 with the New York staging of "Lena Horne: The Lady and her Music".

In 2004, James Morton Nederlander was awarded a Special Tony for Lifetime Achievement.

There were 255 sales in Palm Beach thus far in 2008. The median sales price is at $1.13 million.
