Marvin and Tina Blankenship bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 7646 N.W. 60th Lane in Parkland from Peter and Suzanne Borsella for $365,000 on June 24.

The 2,762-square-foot house was built in 1997 in The Lakes at Parkland subdivision. It is located in Parkland East.

Mr. Blankenship was a pilot with American Airlines. Prior to that, he was a major with the U.S. Air Force and an instructor pilot with the Air Force reserve.

He completed his master's degree in aeronautical science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 537 home sales in Parkland during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $460,000.
