Television VP buys Davie 3BD

Lane and Patricia Michaelsen bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 3100 S.W. 117th Ave. in Davie from Raymond and Dianne Schultz for $550,000 on Oct. 30.

The 3,634-square-foot house in the Davie Central neighborhood was built in 1988.

Mr. Michaelsen is the vice president of news and content at WTVJ in Miami. Previously, he was the vice president of the information center at WUSA in Washington. He began his career as a photojournalist.

He attended Marycrest College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,174 home sales in Davie during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $175,000.
