Pushyamitra Veeramachaneni and Anil Kadiyala bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 18765 S.W. 24th St. in Miramar from Jeffrey and Mary Ellen Novak for $420,000 on Oct. 27.
The Novaks paid $380,000 for the property in Nov. 2002. The 3,989-square-foot home in the Miramar West neighborhood was built in 2003.
Veeramachaneni is an access services librarian at the Florida International University College of Law. She previously worked as a paralegal for Ecomdata in New York, as a circulation supervisor at the Florida International University Green Library and she practiced civil and family law in India for more than three years.
She earned her B.S. and LL.B. degrees from Andhra University in India. She also holds post graduate diplomas in public relations, industrial relations and personnel management from the Bhanvans Institute in Bombay, India. She is currently working on her M.L.S degree at the University of South Florida.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 2,776 home sales in Miramar during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $162,000.
