Dr. Richard S. Oklin and Monica M. Yamada Oklin bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1644 Eagle Bend in Weston from Marcelo A. Algranatti and Sandra Lackenbacher for $520,000 on Oct. 13.

The 3,800-square-foot house in the Weston South of Glades Parkway neighborhood was built in 2000.

Dr. Oklin is a dentist with his own private practice in Hollywood.

Algranatti has been a vice president at the SolidExperts, which offers 3-D design products and applications. Prior to that, he was a business consultant at CADD Centers of Florida and a CADD manager at Gunderlin, a company in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry.

He attended the University of Texas-San Antonio and the University of Texas-Pan American.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,123 home sales in Weston during the past 12 months, with a median price of $278,000.
