Wind resistance expert unloads 2BD in Fort Lauderdale

Kendall L. Hanft and John W. Knezevich sold a two-bedroom, three-bath home at 5210 N.E. 29th Ave. in Fort Lauderdale for $600,000 to Stanley and Miriam Feldman on May 11.

The 2,539-square-foot home, which was built in 1966, is in the Fort Lauderdale North neighborhood.

Knezevich is a partner at Landfall Consulting Group LLC, a risk management consulting company that is made up of premier wind risk modeling and wind mitigation specialists. He focuses on the wind resistance of buildings and their exterior envelope components.

He completed a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

There were 3,165 home sales in Fort Lauderdale in 2008, with a median price of $210,000.
