Hotel owner buys 3BD in Fort Lauderdale

Aaron Benloiel and Hanna Tetens bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 4821 Bayview Dr. in Fort Lauderdale from Reo Properties Corp., for $361,000 on May 11.


Reo Properties foreclosed on the 2,918-square-foot house in Sept. 2008. It was built in 1975 in the neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale East.


Benloiel is the owner of the Sans Souci Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.


Tetens is an independent contractor who specializes in IT and management communication, training and implementation. Previously, she worked as a project manager at Multimedia Learning Inc., an IT manager for Sunrise Senior Living and Marriott International, a director of learning technologies at NASD and with Thermo Fisher Scientific.


She attended the University of Texas at Arlington, earning a B.A. in English.


There were 3,157 home sales in Fort Lauderdale in 2008, with a median price of $215,000.
