Investment firm exec sells 3BD in Weston

Barbara and Robert VanScoy sold a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 822 Verona Lake Dr. in Weston to Steven Villanueva and Marta Portillo-Garcia for $401,000 on April 20.
The 2,590-square-foot house, which was built in 1995, is in the Weston North of Glades Pkwy neighborhood.
Ms. VanScoy is the founding partner, executive vice president and senior portfolio manager at Community Capital Management Inc., a privately-held registered investment advisor based in Weston. Previously, she was a director of mortgage research at SunCoast Capital Group Ltd. and served on the board of directors at the Southern Municipal Finance Society.
She earned her B.S. in finance at the University of Florida.
There were 1,077 home sales in the Weston in 2008, with a median price of $301,000.
