Zhonghua Wu and Shanshan Liang bought a home at 3867 Crestwood Circle in Weston from Antonio and Esperanza Meneses for $427,500 on April 17.
The 3,116-square-foot home was built in 1999. It is in the Weston South of Glades Pkwy neighborhood.
Wu serves as an assistant professor of finance and real estate at Florida International University’s College of Business Administration. He previously worked as a research associate for the National Bureau of Statistics in China.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in economics from Nanchang University in China, he went on to pursue a master’s degree in economics at Syracuse University. He also received a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Liang has worked as an Oracle item master specialist at Marvell Semiconductor, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company that specializes in the design and marketing of high performance, mixed-signal and digital integrated circuits.
Liang attended San Jose State University.
There were 1,050 sales in Weston in 2008, with a median price of $311,100.
