He was named chairman of the board and president since in 1969 and chief executive officer in 1998. He continues to be chairman of the board for the company.

Lino Saputo, Jr., has been the president and chief executive officer of Saputo Inc. since March 2004. He joined Saputo in 1988 as administrative assistant and has also served as vice president of operations and executive vice president of operations. In 2001, he was named president and chief operating officer of dairy products division based in Chicago.

He earned a B.A. in political science from Concordia University.
