Robert and Margaret Marchetti sold a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 2499 Eagle Watch Lane in Weston to Jose and Vivian Mir for $625,000 on March 18.

The Marchettis paid $590,000 for the property in June 2002. The 3,074-square-foot house was built in 1997.

Mr. Marchetti is the group vice president and general manager of the fastener distribution group at BE Aerospace, Inc., a global distributor of aerospace fasteners. Prior to BE, he served as senior vice president and chief operating officer of the fasteners division at Fairchild Corp.

He was a corporate officer of UNC, Inc., where he held several senior positions, and a vice president of marketing and general manager of the component repair division at General Electric Aircraft Engines. He was president at AWA, Inc., and held a number of sales and general management positions with Copperweld Corp., and Carlisle Corp.

Mr. Marchetti earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Bridgeport and an M.A. at Fairleigh Dickenson University.

There were 1,074 home sales in Weston in 2008, with a median price of $315,000.
