Satish, Promila, Radhika and Saket Duggal bought a three-bedroom, four-bath condo at 1830 S. Ocean Dr. in Hallandale Beach from Milica Markovic for $1.175 million on March 6.

Markovic paid $1 million for Unit #5104 in Dec. 2006. It is part of the Beach Club condominium development, which was built in 2000.

Satish Duggal is the president and owner of Twin Tier Hospitality, a hotel management group headquartered in Sayre, Pa. After graduation, he worked as a systems analyst for Burroughs Corp., in Rochester, N.Y., before going to Corning Inc., where he worked for more than 20 years.

He graduated from BHU in 1970 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and obtained an M.B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Sales at the Beach Club were down 77 percent from 2006-2007. The median sales price fell 13.5 percent during that same time period.

There were 824 condo sales in Hallandale Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $150,000.
