Philippe P. Lenoir and Kim Lenoir bought the six-bedroom, 8.5-bath home at 16720 Berkshire Court in Southwest Ranches from Meridian Homes, LLC for $3.4 million on Feb. 25.

Meridian Homes, LLC acquired the property for $840,000 in March 2005.

The 11,761-square-foot house was built in 2000 and is in the Southwest Ranches West neighborhood.

Mr. Lenoir has been the president and chief executive officer of 1L2P International, Inc., an air, rail and auto transportation company. He has been the vice president for Africa and the Middle East at Champion Motors International, Inc., which manufactures and distributes buses and utility trucks.

There were 64 home sales in Southwest Ranches in 2008, with a median price of $425,000.
