Clint and Allison Strauch bought a home at 3317 N.E. 30th Ave. in Lighthouse Point from Douglas and Sandra Green for $1.65 million on March 23.

The Greens paid $925,000 for the property in Oct. 2004. The house is in Lake Placid.

Mr. Strauch has served as the chief operating officer of Florida Peninsula Insurance Co. He has worked as a sales associate and a retail agent at Allstate Insurance Co., and has managed his own agency for more than 15 years.

He received his bachelor’s in psychology from Florida State University.

Ms. Strauch is the co-founder of MOMworks, a seller of attachable photo albums for kids. She has worked as a first grade teacher at a private school in Broward County and has more than 18 years experience as an educator.

She completed her B.A. at the University of Florida and her M.Ed. at Nova Southeastern University.

There were 225 home sales in Lighthouse Point in 2008, with a median sales price of $372,000.
