Walter E. Birch sold a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 2649 Miller Court in Weston to Bjorn O. Hansen and Cynthia L. Hansen for $470,000 on Feb. 5.

The 2,313-square-foot house was built in 1992.

Birch has served as the executive director at the Urology Center of Florida, Specialty Surgery of Ocala, and Health Management and Information Service.

Prior to that, he was a partner at CXO Executive Search, a staffing and recruiting company. He also served as a director at Michael Kelly Associates and a manager at Ernst & Young, LLP, which offers assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services.

He has held key positions at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Heart Group, Vivra Inc., Eli Lilly and Co., and Strategic Planning Associates as well.

He attended the University of Virginia.

There were 1,065 home sales in Weston in 2008, with a median price of $350,000.
