Shannon Duvic bought a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 18880 S.W. 41st St. in Miramar from Errol and Jacqueline Hicks for $420,675 on Feb. 3.

The Hicks paid $473,810 for the property in 2003. The 3,803-square-foot, single-story house was built that same year.

Duvic is the branch manager at Sims Crane & Equipment, a construction, machinery, equipment leasing and rental services company.

She attended Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.

There were 1,779 home sales in Miramar in 2008, with a median sales price of $238,000.
