Jyh-Han Lin and his wife, Lian-Yau Tsai, sold a six-bedroom, four-bath home at 6968 N.W. 110th Lane in Parkland to Ian R. Wesley and Ailin Lek for $582,000 on Dec. 10.
Lin and Tsai bought paid $610,000 for the property on Dec. 2003. The 4,414-square-foot house, which was built in 2002, is in Parkland Isles.
Lin is a partner architect at Microsoft in Seattle. He was a senior member of technical staff and software architect of iDEN Subscriber Group at Motorola, Inc., in Plantation, Fla.
He joined Motorola in 1992 as a staff engineer at the Applied Research in Boynton Beach. After working for the company's Advanced Messaging System Division in Forth Worth, Texas, he moved back to South Florida in 1997 to join iDEN Subscriber Group.
He received his B.S. in computer science at information engineering from National Taiwan University in Taipei. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from Brown University in Providence, R.I.
There were 403 home sales in Parkland in 2008 with median sales price of $600,000.
