Tom Espeland and Debbie Halene Espeland sold a five-bedroom, six-bath home at 1040 Lewis Cove Road in Delray Beach for $2.72 million to Michael J. Borman on Oct. 2.
The Espelands paid $2.2 million for the property in Sept. 2004. The 5,299-square-foot home, which was built in 2003, is in Delray Beach Shores.
Mr. Espeland is the executive vice president and chief information officer of Bertelsmann eCommerce Group.
Previously, he was executive vice president and chief information officer leading VIACOM's technology services company infoworks.
There were 948 sales in Delray Beach in 2008, with a median price of $190,000.
