Radek Bonk sold a two-bedroom, three-bath condo at 3740 S. Ocean Blvd. in Highland Beach to Pikkel Family Partnership Ltd. for $700,000 on Dec. 9.
Bonk paid $635,000 for the 2,601-square-foot Unit #403 in July 2004.
Bonk is a center for the NHL's Nashville Predators.
He was the third overall pick of the 1994 NHL Draft and he made his debut with the Senators that season, scoring three goals in 42 contests. After five nondescript seasons, Bonk scored 23 goals and had 60 points for Ottawa during the 1999-2000 season. Between 1999 and 2003 he scored 93 goals and dished out 150 assists for the Senators.
He was traded to the Los Angeles Kings and, eventually, the Montreal Canadiens prior to the 2004-05 season. After two years with the Canadiens he signed as a free agent with the Predators. In 47 games so far this season, he has five goals and 11 assists.
There are 243 units at 3740 South Ocean Blvd., which is also known as Toscana. It was constructed in 2004.
There were 186 condo sales in Highland Beach in 2008, with a median price of $540,000.
