Roni and Joann Laskin bought a condo at 3501 N. Ocean Dr. in Hollywood from Corbin Dallas Lancaster and Debra Pannu for $1.75 million on Oct. 9.

Lancaster and Pannu paid $1.4 million for Unit #4H in July 2007.

Ms. Laskin serves as the lower school campus principal at the Sagemont School in Weston.

She has more than 20 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools. She has taught at the preschool, elementary, and middle school levels and has also been the director of summer camp programs.

Ms. Laskin received a B.A. degree in elementary and early childhood education from University of South Florida and a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Florida Atlantic University.

Mr. Laskin is a principal at Laskin, Kramer & Weiss PA, an accounting firm based in Plantation. He is also a financial planner at Tobias Financial Advisors, a Plantation-based full service investment advisory firm.

Mr. Laskin graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a B.A. degree.

The Villas of Positano at 3501 N. Ocean Dr. was built in 2007. It has 62 units.

There were 2,253 sales in Hollywood in 2008, with a median price of $194,900.
