Veronica and Richard Bauer bought a four-bedroom, 6.5-bath home at 308 Arabian Road in Palm Beach from Alexander S. Weil for $2.85 million on Dec. 1.

Weil paid $3.2 million for the property in June 2004. The 4,098-square-foot house, which is in Boca Ratone Lakefront, was built in 2002.

Bauer is a lawyer who specializes in estate planning, trust administration, tax planning and estate settlements. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and Florida.

She received her B.A. from Marist College, her J.D. from the New England School of Law and her LL.M. from the University of Miami School of Law.

There have been 295 home sales in Palm Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $1.13 million.
