Lawrence Ruden and Barbara A. Ruden sold a home at 2300 N.E. 48th Court in Lighthouse Point to Chuan S. Wang for $500,000 on Dec. 3.

The 1,543-square-foot house, which was built in 1958, is in the Coral Key Villas.

Mr. Ruden served as the CEO, president and director of The Kidz Club of America, Inc. and is the president of B.B.Q., Inc., which is based in Lighthouse Point.

He served as a director of business development at Norych & Tallis, an insurance subrogation and collections law firm in Coral Springs. Prior to joining Norych & Tallis, he worked for Marino Comprehensive, which offers preparatory courses for law students taking the New York and New Jersey bar exams.

He received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 1971.

There have been 201 sales in Lighthouse Point in 2008 with median sales price of $396,000.
