Peter and Haya Jeffer bought a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 79 Hampshire Lane in Boynton Beach's Villas of Hampshire from Valerie B. Sommer for $422,500 on Dec. 15.

The 2,084-square-foot Unit #79 was built in 1988.

Mr. Jeffer is a financial consultant and chairman of Jeffer Management Corp., a Boynton Beach-based company that specializes in marketing and e-commerce. In addition to his work there, he is also chairman of NU-Technologies, Inc., a business development, venture capital and marketing firm.

He previously served as CEO of MakesParties.com, a party supplier he founded in 2000, and as executive vice president of Sherman Specialty Co., a supplier of toys, novelties and promotional premiums. He was a managing partner at Jeffer Partners and a U.S. equity manager at Soros Fund as well. He also worked at Morgan Stanley as a VP equity strategist.

There have been 1,115 sales in Boynton Beach in 2008, with a median price of $152,000.
