Stephanie and Aaron Sacharow bought a 4,685-square-foot home at 3904 S.W. 189th Ave. in Miramar from Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., for $474,900 on Dec. 9.

The house was built in 2002.

Dr. Sacharow is a pediatrician, a clinical geneticist and a faculty member at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. She specializes in helping children and adults with inherited conditions.

Dr. Sacharow has also served as a counselor for the Victor Project for Ashkenazi Genetic Diseases.

Mr. Sacharow is the co-creator and writer of the webcomic Life of Riley. He has also worked on Dreams in Digital, a CGI comic strip which became a machinima video series.

In addition to his work on the comic, Mr. Sacharow is an IT manager at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino of Hollywood Florida.

There have been 1,779 home sales in Miramar in 2008, with a median sales price of $238,000.
