Cantor is the sole proprietor of Cantor HR and Payroll Consulting. Prior to that, he held human resources positions in Levitt Corp., Royal Caribbean International and Royal Caribbean Cruises and Blockbuster Entertainment Group.

He was also the AVP for compensation and talent management in Ocean Bank and a project control analyst at the Miami Dade County Public Schools.

Cantor completed his B.A. in Personnel Management at the Florida International University and his M.B.A. at Nova Southeastern University.

Sabates is the vocational department chair at The English Center, an adult public school which provides ESOL instruction. She was also the original teacher for their Child Care Program.

Prior to that, Sabates worked as a data entry clerk, a registration specialist, a bookstore cashier and a teacher's aide at Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

There have been 1,781 home sales in Miramar in 2008, with a median sales price of $239,000.
