Linda S. Raschke sold a four-bath, 5,065-square-foot house at 2425 Appaloosa Trail in Wellington's Saddle Trail Park to Saddle Trail Park, LLC, for $3.5 million on Nov. 10.
The house was listed for $3.95 million. It was built in 1997.
Raschke is a commodities and futures trader who serves as president of LBRGroup, Inc., - a registered commodity trading advisor and money management firm - and as president of LBR Asset Management, a commodity pool operator. She is also a principal trader for the Granat Fund.
Raschke co-authored a book titled Street Smarts - High Probability Short-Term Trading Strategies and was recognized in The New Market Wizards, by Jack Schwager and in Women of the Street, by Sue Herera. She has also been featured in a number of financial publications, radio and financial television programs.
Raschke has previously served as a board director for the Market Technician's Association. She graduated from Occidental College and is a registered commodity trading advisor.
There have been 874 sales in Wellington in 2008, with a median price of $311,000.
