Newlyweds settle into Fort Lauderdale home

Cabot C. Edewaard and his wife, Sheri Cheany-Edewaard, bought a home at 1121 N.E. 18th Ave. in Fort Lauderdale from C. Craig Edewaard, Inc., for $750,000 on Nov. 19.
Mr. Edewaard runs his own real estate company, F.M. Cabot Homes, in Fort Lauderdale.
Mrs. Edewaard runs the daily office operations at F.M. Cabot Homes. She started her career in real estate and property management as an assistant property manager and leasing specialist at The Marquesa, a 372-unit luxury rental building in Pembroke Pines.
She has also worked for Coldwell Banker, where she became a top producer.
The couple married in May.
There have been 2,844 sales in Fort Lauderdale in 2008 with median sales price of $275,000.
