Laura Malkin-Stuart, Juan Carlos Plotnicoff, Tamara Malkin-Stuart, and Esperanza C. Stuart bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 2338 N.W. 64th St. in Boca Raton from Cheryl Mizrachi for $1.3 million on Nov. 7.

The 4,905-square-foot house was built in 1989.

Plotnicoff is the owner at Creative Latin Media, LLC, in Boca Raton. He has held the positions as a managing director in Latin America at Jobson Publishing, LLC, and as project manager at International Paper.

He earned his bachelor's in mathematics from Fordham University (1983) and a master's in industrial engineering from Columbia University ('88).

Ms. Malkin-Stuart teaches yoga at Mala Yoga in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is also an artist who has had her work displayed in exhibitions in New York, Florida and Italy.

She received her B.A. from Barnard College in New York City.

There have been 1,187 sales in Boca Raton in 2008, with a median sales price of $350,000.
