Cheryl Teugels and her husband, Ludwing, sold a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 16019 S.W. 54th Court in Miramar to Amarilis Acevedo and Les P. Sternberg for $580,000 on Nov. 18.

The Teugelses bought the property for $716,130 in Dec. 2004. The 4,245-square-foot house, which was built in 2005, is in the Riviera Isles, II.

Mrs. Teugels works as a realtor with Keller Williams Realty in The Woodlands, Texas.

She also runs a Web site for the Bender Landing Estates in Spring, where she is currently a homeowner. She has also worked as a buyers specialist for Valery Blank Real Estate in Houston.

Acevedo has been a professor at the department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Miami College of Medicine.

There have been 1,559 sales in Miramar so far in 2008, with a median sales price of $240,000.
