Ananda Rampat and his wife, Devi, bought a 3,565-square-foot home at 8139 N.W. 106th Park Lane in Parkland's Heron Bay from Aurora Loan Services, LLC, for $490,000 on Oct. 23.

Aurora Loan Services, LLC, acquired the property on Aug. 12 in a foreclosure.

The house was built in 2007.

Mr. Rampat is a chief financial officer at Northwest Medical Center in Margate.

He previously held the same position at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach. Prior to that, he was a controller at the East Florida Division of Hospital Corp. of America in Ft. Lauderdale. Earlier, he was director of financial planning and budgeting at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood.

Mr. Rampat earned a B.A. in economics from The Polytechnic in Wolverhampton, U.K. He also holds a master's degree in health services administration and a master's degree in accounting from Florida International University.

There have been 361 sales in Parkland in 2008 with a median price of $600,000.
