Engineering firm interim president buys in Palm Beach

Henry J. Driesse bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 3440 S. Ocean Blvd. in Palm Beach from 2860546 Canada, Inc., for $500,000 on Aug. 18.

Unit #3080 spans 1,886 square feet. It was listed for as much as $699,000.

Driesse is interim president of the defense electronics and services department at ITT, an engineering and technology firm.

He previously worked as a senior vice president of operations at ITT and worked in the company's fluid technology department.

He received his B.S. in electrical engineering Fairleigh Dickinson University and his M.S. in electrical engineering from New York University.

There have been 254 sales in Palm beach so far in 2008. The median sales price $1.115 million.
