General surgeon buys Lauderdale-by-the-Sea 3BD

Dr. Marnie Sue Santaniello bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 245 Algiers Ave. in Lauderdale-by-the-sea from Jason Sarji and Samantha Sarji for $600,000 on August 27.

The 2,157-square-foot house was built in 1974.

Jason Sarji paid $335,000 for the property in November 2001.

Dr. Santaniello is a surgeon at Holy Cross Hospital.

She earned her Ph.D. from the Penn State University College of Medicine.

Ms. Sarji is a real estate agent at Great Dane Realty Group, LLC.

There have been 166 sales in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea thus far in 2008. The median sales price is $375,000 so far this year.
