Rubber company CEO sells in Highland Beach for $1.155M

Lorretta C. Magnuson sold a condo at 3740 South Ocean Blvd. in Highland Beach to Jeffrey L. Cohen and Carol Cohen for $1.155 million on August 21.

Magnuson paid $875,000 for the property in August 2004.

The 2,552-square-foot unit is in a condominium building built in 2004.

Magnuson has served as the chief executive officer of Lakeview Industries, a company that supplies molded rubber products and extruded rubber seals, which is based in Chaska, Minn.

She attended Northwestern Health Sciences University.

Known as The Toscana, 3740 S. Ocean Blvd. has 422 units.

Sales in the development dropped 35 percent from 2006-2007 from 40 to 26. The median sales price fell from $1.5 million to $1.165 million.

There have been 127 sales in Highland Beach so far in 2008. The median sales price is $450,000.
