Richard Tyroler and his wife, Amy, bought four-bedroom, three-bath home at 8095 N.W. 111th Terrace in Parkland from Clifford and Alyse S. Bernstein for $600,000 on Aug. 28.
The 3,006-square-foot house was built in 2007.
Mr. Tyroler has served at Smith Barney as financial advisor and planning specialist.
Previously, he was a financial advisor at UBS Wealth Management and has also worked as a as trader and technical analyst at the Carlin Financial Group. He owned Timber Lake & Tyler Hill Camps, a recreational facilities and services industry, where he also served as assistant director.
He earned his bachelor's in business and marketing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Mrs. Tyroler has worked as a partner in the Pasteur Pharmacy drugstore chain in Manhattan. She was a graduate of Northeastern University.
The couple married in 1998.
Home sales in
Parkland are down 45 percent in 2008 compared to sales in 2007. The median sales price also dropped from $729,000 to $620,000 so far this year.
