Real estate firm owner buys Palm Beach 2BD for $1.5M

Joshua Saslove bought the two-bedroom, three-bath condo at 100 Sunrise Ave. in Palm Beach from Stephen Fiverson and Nancy Fiverson for $1.5 million on June 16.

The Fiversons paid $315,000 for Unit #4230 is in the Sun and Surf building in July 1993.

Mr. Saslove is a real estate broker and the owner of Joshua & Co., a real estate firm located in Aspen, Colo.

Mr. Fiverson has served as the chief executive officer of Colt Corp., a company involved in packaging, storage, warehousing and distribution.

He earned his bachelor's in political science from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law.

Sun and Surf, which was built in 1968, has 136 units in seven floors.

Sales in the development increased from 12 to 25 from 2006 to 2007. The median sales price increased from $1.01 million to $1.213 million.

Condo sales in Palm Beach dropped nearly 16 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price is down from $800,000 in 2006 to $742,000 in 2007.
