Ophthalmologist asking $2.45M in West Boca

Dr. Eric Ciliberti and Timea Bredacs are selling their home at 17839 Monte Vista Dr. in West Boca's Oaks at Boca Raton neighborhood for $2.45 million.

Dr. Ciliberti and Bredacs paid $1,193,400 for the property in April 2007. The house was built in 2006.

Dr. Ciliberti is a double certified physician of ophthalmology and neurology. He currently practices at the Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale Beach.

Dr. Ciliberti received his M.D. from Tulane University's School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also took his residency in ophthalmology. He completed his neurology training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. In addition, Dr. Ciliberti also served as a captain in the Air Force Reserve Medical Corps.

Home sales in West Boca dropped seven percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price is also down from $255,000 to $191,000.
