Transit CEO asking $1.495M in NE Palm Beach

Domenic F. Gatto is selling a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 2086 N. Waterway Dr. in Unincorporated Northeast Palm Beach for $1.495 million.

Gatto paid $1.29 million for the property in April 2005. The 2,132-square-foot house was built in 1969.

Gatto serves as CEO and president of Atlantic Express Transit, one of the largest providers of bus transportation in North America. He founded the company in Staten Island, N.Y. in 1964.

Prior to AET, Gatto began his career in the business as a bus driver.

Home sales in Unincorporated Northeast Palm Beach are down 17.7 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price has also fallen from $345,000 in 2007 to $281,000 so far this year.
