Club Med VP acquires home in Boca

Nicolas Boudet and his wife, Susan, bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 1198 S.W. 20th St. in Boca Raton's Palm Beach Farms for $730,000 from David M. Simon and his wife, Jill, on Aug. 14.
The Simons paid $730,000 for the property in June 2007.
The 2,616-square-foot house was built in 1978. It previously was listed for $899,000.
Mr. Boudet serves as senior VP of real estate development for the Americas for Club Med, a French corporation of vacation resorts. Club Med, which currently operates in 150 locations in 40 countries, maintains an operation in Coral Gables, Fla.
He previously was
VP of development and acquisitions for Club Med's North American zone. Before joining Club Med, Boudet has worked in the hospitality department of Jones Lang LaSalle, a real estate investment firm in London. Earlier, he served in the Paris headquarters of Queens Moat Houses PLC.
He received his master's degree in hospitality administration from Cornell University and ESSEC's Business School in Paris.
Home sales in
Boca Raton have dropped 24.3 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped $50,000, from $420,000 in 2007 to $370,000 so far this year.
