Attorney buys West Boca 4BD

Thomas W. Paradise and his wife, Wendy, bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 10870 King Bay Dr. in West Boca from Michael and Gloria Moyer for $560,000 on Aug. 7.

The 2,900-square-foot house, which was built in 1996, is in the Boca Isles South.

Mr. Paradise is a civil litigation specialist with the law firm Vernis & Bowling of Broward. He specializes in a number of areas for the firm, including personal injury, insurance coverage, liability law and construction law.

Before joining Vernis & Bowling, he worked with Miami law firm of Arigones, Hunter, McClure, Lynch & William, P.A.

He earned his J.D. from the Stetson University College of Law (1991) and his bachelor's from Tulane University in New Orleans ('88).

Home sales in West Boca are down five percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price, however, is down from $255,000 in 2007 to $195,000 so far this year.
