Real estate firm owner asking $2.775M for Boca 5BD

Stephen Preusse and his wife, Heather, are selling their five-bedroom, 5.5 bath home at 1170 S.W. 21st Lane in Boca Raton's Palm Beach Farms for $2.775 million.

The Preusses paid $875,000 for the property in Dec. 2004.

The 6,693-square-foot house was built in 2006.

Mr. Preusse, a licensed real estate broker, is the founder and president of Preusse Homes, Inc., a builder of estate homes in South Florida.

He also has worked as an actor, appearing in small roles in the made-for-TV movie "Nightmare in Columbia County" and in an episode of "Cheers" in 1991.

He graduated from Butler University with a B.S. degree in radio-television/telecommunications/electronic media.

Home sales in Boca Raton have dropped 19 percent thus far in 2008. The median sales price has also dropped $50,000, from $420,000 in 2007 to $370,000 so far this year.
