Italian restaurant owner asking $1.26M in Boca

Lorenzo Sciortino and Rosaria L. Sciortino have listed their five-bedroom, four bath home at 721 N.E. 76th St. in Boca Raton for $1.26 million.
The Sciortinos paid $1.18 million for the property in February 2006. The 3,531-square-foot house was built in 1987.
Mr. Sciortino is the owner of Renzo's of Boca, an Italian cafe in Boca Raton. In 2004 the family opened Renzo's Cafe and Pizzeria and in 2006, Renzo's Pizza West, a take-out and delivery pizzeria with a few casual sidewalk tables.
Prior to Renzo's, he opened his first restaurant in Long Island.
Cosimo Piediscalzi, one of the chefs at Renzo's of Boca,
also has a home on the market in Boca Raton.
Home sales in
Boca Raton have dropped 19 percent in 2008 versus 2007. The median sales price is down from $420,000 in 2007 to $370,000 so far this year.
