Robert M. and Dianne K. Congdon bought their three-bed, 2.5-bath house at 609 S.W. Eighth Terrace in Fort Lauderdale from Barlet Financial Services, Inc., for $850,000 on August 14.

The two-story, 2,978-square-foot house is located in the Tarpon River neighborhood.

Dianne Congdon has been a national cleansing director for Isagenix, a weight loss and health company.

She attended Washington University in St. Louis and Kansas State University.

Home sales in Fort Lauderdale decreased 39.4 percent from 2007-2008 from 4,731 to 2,867. The median sales price dropped from $342,000 to $280,000.
