Dance instructor buys in Parkland

Anthony H. Breslin and Rosanne Slifko bought a six-bedroom, 3.5 bath home at 10571 North West 66th Street in Parkland from Joel Frank and Lisa Brummel for $590,000 on July 15.

Frank and Brummel paid $540,000 for the property in Nov. 2002.

The 4,062-square-foot house was built in 1997.

Ms. Slifko is the owner and head instructor of the Brookline Dance Studio, which has been operating in the Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh for over 30 years.

As an active member of the Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10, she has been on the board of directors of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania for over twenty years and is currently serving as first vice president.

Home sales in Parkland dropped nearly seven percent thus far in 2008. The median sales price also fallen from $640,000 in 2007 to $729,000 so far this year.
