CommerNet CEO buys in Parkland

Zhonggang Li, Hai Quan Li and Ling Nian Jin bought a home at 5969 North West 75th Way in Parkland from US Bank National for $582,750 on July 16.

The US Bank National Assn foreclosed on property in June 2007.

The 6,088-square-foot house was built in 1990.

Mr. Li is the CEO and co-founder of CommerNet, Inc., an e-commerce software application company.

Prior to joining CommerNet, he worked as the CEO of Pacific Rim Trading and Investment, which specializes in business development and trade between China and the U.S. He has also been a lead business application developer for IBM in Boca Raton and for the Great Wall Computer Corporation in China.

He holds a master's degree in computer science from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor's in computer engineering from Tsinghua University-Beijing.

Home sales in Parkland have dropped nearly seven percent thus far in 2008. The median sales price also fallen from $640,000 in 2007 to $729,000 so far this year.
