New Yorkers sell for $4M in Jupiter Inlet Colony

Robert J. Fierle and his wife, Tala, sold a five-bedroom, four bath at 22 Ocean Dr. in Jupiter Inlet Colony to William E. and Lori J. Rita for $3,991,882 on March 13.
Mr. Fierle paid $490,000 for the property in June 1983.
The 2,928-square-foot home, which was built in 1959, is located in the Jupiter Inlet Beach Colony.
Mr. Fierle has served as chairman of
American Precision Industries Delvan, a manufacturer of heat transfer and motion control parts based in the Buffalo, N.Y. area.
He founded the company in 1947, after working as a mechanical engineer for the Navy.
The Fierles were No. 21 on the list of
top taxpayers in Jupiter Inlet Colony for 2007.
Home sales in
Jupiter Inlet Colony dropped 18 percent so far this year. The median sales price is also down, to $690,000 so far this year, as compared to $1.1 million for 2007.
