Salsa musician spends $556K in Parkland

Kenneth Quintero and Robin D. Quintero bought a five-bedroom, four bath home at 6502 Northwest 66th Way in Parkland from Bank of New York for $556,000 on August 6.

The 4,882-square-foot house was built in 1996

Kenneth Quintero is the owner of Studio Bravo Productions, Inc. He is a songwriter, composer, and bassist for his own salsa band, Orquesta Brava.

He performs on the acoustic upright bass with his orchestra in clubs, television and events in Florida. He is originally from Puerto Rico.

Robin Quintero is the co-owner of Studio Bravo Productions, Inc.

Home sales in Parkland are down by almost 39 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price has also fallen from $729,000 to $640,000 so far this year.
